		<description>Apart from your example of Noonan&#039;s reaction, mostly there has been a more grown-up reaction in America.  His faith has not been highlighted as a major factor for his (probable) insanity, which, considering how this might have been seized upon and exaggerated here, is rather refreshing.  I suppose it&#039;s quite surprising there are not more such incidents in the USA, considering how many guns and aggrieved people are out there.
But would you ever condone torture?  Say you captured a nut-job who had hidden captives wired to explode in a few hours time - would any method of extracting information about the location be acceptable?</description>
