The cognitive disonance of this mentality cannot be sustained even by the group mindset they all espouse. If they applied this "principle" to every aspect of government, all those expensive consultants could be sacked too. That would save an awful lot of our money, probably enough to keep the Home Office in coke for a long time. Now my head hurts and I'm going to lie down (with a big spliff of course).
